Shipping Policy
The Resin Rainbow is a small business run by one person - myself! I endeavour to process all orders within 5 business days under normal circumstances. Please take this into account when placing your order and choosing your shipping option at the checkout. Please check this website for any updates regarding processing times, e.g. during busy periods such as Christmas or for when I am on holiday (as we all need a holiday sometimes!)
All items are shipped through Royal Mail. The Resin Rainbow cannot be held accountable for delays in delivery once I have shipped the item as this is out of my control.
I offer two rates of shipping for U.K. customers:
Business days are deemed as Monday to Friday.
I am not currently offering shipping to other countries at this time but feel free to drop me an email if you have any queries.
Please check all details such as name and address are correct before finalising your order. The Resin Rainbow cannot be held accountable for any mistakes made during ordering.
I make sure each item is packaged with protective wrapping to ensure it arrives to you in the condition seen on the website. However The Resin Rainbow cannot be held accountable for damages that occur during shipping as these are out of my control.
Lost or Missing Orders
Please note I must follow Royal Mail's Policy for items that have not been delivered. In the first instance if your item is late, please check that all details on the order were correct, as The Resin Rainbow will ship the item to the address given at the time of ordering and cannot be held accountable for any errors made on the order form. If details were correct, please check that the item has not been delivered to a neighbour or left in a safe place.
I cannot submit a claim to Royal Mail for loss until 10 business days have elapsed since the item was due to be delivered so please do not contact me until this time has passed. Responses by Royal Mail to claims will usually be issued within 30 days so please allow this time before contacting me again.
Please be assured I will keep you updated throughout the process and remember that I will also be awaiting a response and refund from Royal Mail before I can proceed to resolving the situation with you, the customer.
Refunds, Returns & Exchanges
You are entitled to request a refund/exchange if the item you have received is faulty or damaged.
I try to ensure the item is photographed and listed as accurately as possible to show the colour and any distinguishing marks, such as bubbles/holes, so please check that you are completely happy with your purchase before proceeding. Refunds may not be given in this instance.
If your item is damaged or if you are unhappy with your item, please do get in touch. Please note I will require photographs of the item plus proof of purchase.
If a refund or exchange is issued, you will be responsible for paying postage and shipping to send the original item back to me.
Cancellations
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of placing the original order. Your right to cancel ends 14 days after you receive the item.
If you wish to cancel but the item has already been shipped, you will need to send the item back to me before I can process your refund.
If you wish to cancel your order and it has not yet been shipped, please get in touch with me with your order number, item name and your details and I will process your refund within 14 days.
